Happy Mothers Day!

I just wanted to give a BIG Happy Mothers Day wish to all my mommy friends as well as my own Mom, Grandma's, and Aunts too! I think sometimes Mom's don't get as much credit as they deserve...whether you are a stay at home mom, work at home mom, working mom, single mom, or married mom...you have the most selfless job there is! I know that I wouldn't change being a mommy for anything...Kayleigh is my true pride and joy!!

I think I have mentioned before that Miss Kayleigh has started preschool, and if I haven't...SHE DID!! Last week was her first week, and boy did I score! Thursday she painted me a terracotta pot and even got to help plant flowers in it! It is pretty cool to know that my little girl made my mothers day gift this year!!

Jeremiah has actually helped to make this mothers day pretty awesome! He woke up this morning BEFORE Kayleigh and let me get completely ready, while he got Kayleigh ready! As I was showering he even sent me a happy mothers day text...because for those of you that know Jeremiah, and those of you who don't...he HATES cards!! He thinks they are a waste of money...and his message actually was WAY better than any card I have ever received!! It even made me a little teary eyed!! And since I know you are probably thinking, 'well what did he write?!' I will share!!

Here's your mothers day card babe...since I know you love cards and I don't.

I can't believe it's been 6 years since we've been together...and you have been a mom for two. You are an amazing mom and Kayleigh and I are both lucky to have you in our lives. We both love you very much and we appreciate everything you do for us. I am so glad our relationship, our marriage and our friendship is better and stronger than ever. I know things are tough with all the military stuff, but if we just stay strong and work through it together, we will be okay. I love you, and Kayleigh says she loves you too!

We enjoyed a great breakfast with my mom and dad, and are now relaxing at home, waiting for dinner time to roll around! I have been craving Mexican food...and although it's not a fancy dinner...I am SUPER excited!!! I am also excited for my mothers day gift...and my friend Chrystle says I am such a homeowner...because when asked what I would like for mothers day, I responded with "those black rocking chairs and table from Lowes!" LOL!!!

And the topper to my mothers day...the true definition of being a mom...Kayleigh got sick and puked ALL OVER ME!!! I have no clue what happened, or why she got sick...she doesn't have a fever, and hasn't complained about feeling sick...and hasn't puked since. All I know is it was the highlight of my day!!!

So with that, I hope every mommy out there is enjoying HER day!!!
