No Shoes...No Shirt...No Problem!

I can't help but to sit here and be thankful!

Today would have been a sad day for the Hamon family, because it's deployment day for Jeremiah's unit.

But since Jeremiah got that infection from his surgery, he will not be deploying. And instead, he is here, well really at work...but here non the less and enjoying summer with us!

So like I said...I can't help but be thankful!

Thankful for a wonderful husband! An amazing daughter! Family and friends who love me for me! A roof over our heads! Dependable cars to drive! A yard to enjoy this summer (lol!)! A husband who has an amazing job, that he loves, so that I can stay home and raise our daughter!

And of course...a boat to help keep us cool on these hot summer days! And I can't help but to think of the song by Kenny Chesney...no shoes...no shirt...no problem! This summer has been amazing so far...and it's really just the beginning!

On Monday we went to the lake with my parents, my sister and my brother-in-law! It was a blast! Neil (bro-in-law) has never been wakeboarding...so he decided to give it a shot...and since he has been snowboarding...he got the hang of it pretty quick!

Heck...my dad even got out there to try it out...oh yes that's right...my bass fishing dad...the one who talks mad crap on wakeboarders...tried it out!

He didn't quite get the hang of it...but sometimes it's hard when you have 5 different people telling you to do this or that!! He was super close...almost up!! There is always next time!!!

I have to report that I am getting a little more confident each time...and this time...I was cutting side to side inside the wake!!

And then there is the tube...oh my gosh the tube! I swear it's a contest between my dad and Jeremiah who can whip who off the fastest and hardest! But with my sister on the tube...you can't go that fast and hard because she weighs next to nothing! Lol!

And while my dad was trying so very hard to get Jeremiah off that tube...he managed to flood the boat lol! It kept Kayleigh entertained while it lasted...she loves splashing in the water!

Then there is Jeremiah...he is determined to be doing tricks by the end of summer! But for now...still trying to land every jump (he lands 8 out of 10 of them!) and clear the wake at the same time (clears it 4 times out of 10!)...and he looks awesome doing it!

Jeremiah even got out the wakesurf again...and Neil wanted to try it out because it looked fun and challenging! (never has done it before...swear he's a natural like Jeremiah!)

We are loving all the memories we are making with family and friends! And again...thankful...that Jeremiah get's to be here this summer with us!

Next up on our boating adventures...The Woods Family!!! Can't wait for Kayleigh to have a friend on the boat...she get's kind of board hanging out with adults all day lol! And speaking of the Woods family...a shout out to Miss Darci...Happy First Birthday yesterday sweet little girl!  Can't wait to celebrate with you this weekend!

Time goes by way to fast...so we are remembering to enjoy every minute of it!
